Hello everyone!
My name is Kristina.
I'm a teddy artist and pattern designer, based in Dubai UAE.
I work full time creating teddy toys and running my Instagram and Etsy accounts since 2017.

For me, creating a new character is always an exciting and challenging process. It all starts with an idea. At first it is very fragile, but gradually begins to take shape, fill with details, becoming more and more vibrant, demanding to be brought to life. And here it is important not to miss the moment, because ideas cannot wait forever :)
Therefore, I try to bring all of them into life !
I mostly draw my inspiration from childhood: kind fairy tales and old cartoons. Everything that delighted me when I was a little girl is now a great source for my creativity.
My creations are more than just toys for me. Almost all of them have names and their own character. Each of them is unique, so creating an exact copy is impossible. I am really happy that my toys get a chance to live all over the world and bring my customers joy!
I am careful when choosing materials for my toys. In my work I use Italian and German viscose, plush, and mohair. For stuffing: linen filler, wood wool, various types of granules: glass, metal, mineral. I paint glass eyes by hand. To give a vintage effect, I tint the toys with oil paints and dry pastels.
Transforming a piece of fabric into a toy with a lively and curious look...

The rustling of wrapping paper is an anticipation of happiness!
Which is why my toys are sent to their new homes in gift wrapping and with original designer cards.
